Climate Control: Year-Round Comfort
In Saskatchewan, a garage isn't functional if it's freezing. We provide the power for whatever heating style you choose:
• Electric Heating: Dedicated 240V circuits for Ouellet unit heaters—the Regina standard for reliable, fan-forced garage heat.
• Gas & Boiler Support: Precise circuitry and controls for gas-fired unit heaters or in-floor boiler systems.
• In-Slab Heat Tracing: Professional installation of electric heat cables before the pour to prevent ice buildup and keep your slab warm.
The 100A Sub-Panel: Future-Proofing Your Space
Don't limit yourself to a single 15A circuit from the house. We install 240V 100A sub-panels directly in your garage.
• Direct Access: Reset breakers without running back to the house in the dark.
• Space to Grow: Ready for high-draw welders, air compressors, or Level 2 EV Chargers.
• The Master Upgrade: "Need more juice? We can upgrade your home’s main service at the same time to ensure your new shop doesn't overwhelm your house."
The Workshop Essentials: Light, Power, & Connectivity
We design the interior to work as hard as you do:
• Acuity LED Strip Lighting: Say goodbye to "yellow" flickering tubes. We install high-output Acuity LEDs to eliminate shadows over your engine bay or workbench.
• Smarter Receptacles: 15A or 20A outlets at "workbench height" so you aren't crawling under tables to plug in a drill.
• Connectivity: Dedicated data cabling and Wi-Fi extenders for your TV/tunes, plus integrated security cameras to protect your tools.
• Luxury Accents: Ask about our Watts Permanent Soffit Lighting (link) for a high-end look that matches your home.
The Flow Process: Trenching & Coordination
We make the "messy part" easy.
• Integrated Trenching: We include the trenching in our package.
• Trade Coordination: We work directly with your gas fitter to share the same trench whenever possible, saving you money and minimizing yard damage.
• Budget Flexibility: "Want it simple and basic? No problem. We can tailor a 'Code-Minimum' package for storage or a 'Luxury-Spec' shop for the ultimate hobbyist."
1. Can I run a heater and a welder at the same time? With our 100A sub-panel package, yes.
2. Do I need a separate permit for the garage? Yes, we handle the TSASK permit and inspection as part of the job
3. How deep does the trench need to be? Typically 24 inches for electrical; we coordinate this with other utilities.
4. Is a sub-panel necessary? If you want more than a single light and one outlet, a sub-panel is the only way to do it right.
5. Can you add an EV charger later? If we install a sub-panel now, adding a charger later is a 20-minute job instead of a $2,000 renovation.
